Espadrillas
A simple design and clean-cut espadrille crafted from a soft calf suede leather decorated front with small feathers, featuring rubber and jute sole and leather insole.
Manufacture
Hand stitched
The manufacture of espadrilles soles is generally more complex than ordinary sandals. The jute fibers are first mechanically woven together. Then, the braid is inserted into a mold in the shape of a sole, with a heat treatment to obtain the correct shape, after which it is fixed with vertical stitches. Finally, the upper is sewn onto the sole.
